Day of Show Checklist for Presenters
Unloading
The harp needs to be loaded at the door closest to the stage and/or the handicapped entrance. (harp is on a cart with wheels) It weighs thirty (30) pounds. For airport runs, mini-van is required.
Sound Requirements & Lighting
See tech sheet pages in Green Room (in right margin, specific to each concert)
Recordings & Merchandise
Ideally, a CD table should be placed at the entrance and be manned before the show, during intermission and after the show. A credit card machine will be provided.
Music Between Sets
We work really hard to create a ‘vibe.’ We can give you music to use between sets, or if you use your own, we respectfully ask that you keep it very easy going.
Introduction & Printed Program
Feel free to use your own house style. Short: “Please welcome…” or: For each show in the green room, on the right hand margin, there will be a suggested ‘program,’ please feel free to use this as a template for your program and/or introduction. It usually includes a short form bio. There is a CD catalog in the Central downloads area if you would like to print this out. We ask that all fundraising be done before Áine arrives on stage or after she leaves.
Reviews
We are always grateful to have reviews forwarded. info@minogue.com
Hotels
If so far as possible, please book hotel rooms that are close to an entrance. The harp has to be stored in the hotel room overnight.
Meals
No white carbs or sugar please i.e. no potatoes, pasta, flour – nothing white. Fish, chicken or meat with a side salad and/or vegetables usually works very well. (non sugar dressing). Thai food w/ brown rice is good also. Water backstage and on stage please. Hot water for tea appreciated. (herbal, no caffeine)
