Once upon a time, a man named Robert McBride moved to a little town in Vermont called Bellows Falls. Before long, lots of artists, musicians and other unsavory types started to show up and before the locals knew what hit them, an artists' colony of sorts had started to blossom!

That's Bellows Falls.
The Stone Church at the top of the hill is a beautiful acoustic space to play/sing in.  It makes us sound good.  We love that.
The crowd is  always quirky.

I watched "A Mighty Wind" in a nearby town in Vermont (The Garrison Keillor movie).  The crowd in the movie theater was much more interesting that the crowd on screen.

Vermont is a state of mind.
The audiences are a puzzle - you never know what they're thinking.  It's brilliant!
Things get strange.

Occasionally the mayor (Robert Mc Bride himself) shows up.
If the Maestro shows up (Eugene Friesen, worlds greatest cello player), that's nirvana....  We aspire....

A volunteer run organization led by its fearless and beloved leader Jim Watson these many years.

It's often suggested that you come along early.

In truth, we had no problem with seats a couple of years ago since we had a 'flash freeze.'  Truly, I thought that just applied to veggies.  But, no!

We actually had a lovely intimate candlelight concert across the street in the oldest church in New England and it was magical....

As dusk fell, for those few brave souls who made it in and out during a flash freeze and some of the worst and most dangerous weather I've even driven through (and I've driven through some), it was one of my lovliest memories of playing live anywhere, ever....

We troubadours live for such moments.  Looking forward....

Old stomping ground (formerly Club 47) of Bob Dylan and other 60's icons, this cozy coffeehouse in the heart of Harvard Square is traditionally the final show of the "To Warm the Winter's Night" tour.

A walk around Harvard Square before the show is highly recommended - lovely lights and a great vibe.

Also suggest a trip to the Border Cafe across the street afterwards, where the Mexican music usually has to give way to the after party for the cast of "Revels" which is also traditionally held on this night also!   Love it!

There is parking in the Church Street lot across the street.
