Camino Churches Slideshow

Churches along the old pilgrimage route to Santiago, in the Northwest of Spain.  

Every small town along the route seemed to have a church that was at least 500 years old.

There were cathedrals in Burgos, Leon and of course Santiago.  

The country churches with their stone architecture proved to be great sanctuaries from the hot Spanish sun.
